Ankit Singh, assistant professor and ornamental horticulture educator at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension, was featured in two recent stories Martha Stewart on growing cucumbers. One story detailed the "worst places to grow cumbers," while another story explored how often gardeners should water cucumbers to promote healthy growth and abundant harvests. "Cucumbers are especially sensitive to uneven watering, so keeping moisture consistent is one of the best ways to get better fruit quality," said Singh.
