BOZEMAN, Mont., Nov. 3 -- Montana State University issued the following press release:
BOZEMAN - J. David "Dave" Stahly, a longtime Montana civil engineer whose career helped shape transportation infrastructure and engineering practices across the state, will be inducted into the Montana Professional Engineers Hall of Fame on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

Stahly will be honored with a plaque displayed in Roberts Hall on the Montana State University campus. The award, given annually by the Montana Society of Engineers in collaboration with MSU's Norm Asbjornson College of Engineering, recognizes exceptional contributions by engineers who are professionally licensed in the state.
