UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Emine Barik, a fourth-year economics student at Penn State, spent her summer in Philadelphia helping Global Indemnity Group (GBLI) navigate the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence (AI).
Through her role as an AI adoption intern, Barik worked across teams, helping employees understand how emerging technologies can be used in the workplace. Her work included researching AI applications, developing educational resources and delivering companywide training and live sessions that help employees integrate AI tools into their daily workflows.
