Building on the framework of Senator Lee's ISLET Act (https://www.lee.senate.gov/2025/11/lee-bill-deregulates-life-saving-transplants-for-americans-with-diabetes), the letter urges HHS to reclassify islets to facilitate their use in treatment for Americans with diabetes.
