This week, Congressman Mike Lawler joined Reps. Dave Min (CA-47), Jared Huffman (CA-02), and Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01) to introduce the Safe Standards for Personal E-Bike and E-Moto Device Specifications Act (Safe SPEEDS Act) (https://lawler.house.gov/UploadedFiles/SAFESPEEDS.pdf), legislation to establish uniform consumer product safety standards for low-speed electric bikes and other off- road electric devices sold in the United States.
