Before leaving Washington for the week, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) signed a bipartisan discharge petition (https://clerk.house.gov/DischargePetition/2025120211?Page=2) to circumvent Republican leadership and force a vote in the House on H.R. 1908 (https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-bill/1908/text?s=2&r=1&q=%7B%22search%22%3A%22H.R.+1908%22%7D), the End Congressional Stock Trading Act. This bill would prohibit Members of Congress, their spouses, and dependent children from owning and trading stocks.
