Kicking off AmeriCorps Week, Reps. John B. Larson (CT-01) and Don Bacon (NE-02) introduced the bipartisan Segal AmeriCorps Education Award Tax Relief Act. Their legislation would provide tax relief for AmeriCorps members who earn Segal Education Awards through their service to help pay for higher education costs and reduce barriers for young people to access the financial assistance they've earned.
