US Senators James Lankford (R-OK) and Mike Lee (R-UT) recently introduced the Protecting Our Kids from Harmful Research Act (https://www.lankford.senate.gov/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Protecting-Our-Kids-from-Harmful-Research-Act.pdf) to prohibit the use of federal funds for any research or publication promoting gender transitions for minors.
