BATAVIA, Illinois - Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi today joined Batavia Mayor Jeffery Schielke and local leaders to present $250,000 in federal Community Project Funding he secured to help build a new, dedicated segment of the Fox River Regional Trail, improving safety for pedestrians and cyclists while expanding access to the Fox River.
The new segment will run along the west side of the Fox River between the river and Batavia's wastewater treatment facility, replacing a section where trail users can be routed off the dedicated path and alongside the roadway.
