U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) announced that the House passed the Senate's bipartisan bill that includes her provision to delay the federal hemp ban, based on the bipartisan Hemp Planting Predictability Act she introduced with Senator Rand Paul (R-KY).
The bill will delay the looming federal hemp ban through December 11, 2026, and bans synthetic hemp derivatives. The bill now heads to the President's desk.
