U.S. Senator Angus King (I-ME) is cosponsoring legislation that would return tariff revenue to the pockets of small businesses and encourage large corporations to pass on those refunds to their consumers, after months of bipartisan opposition pointing out that tariffs amount to additional taxes on Americans (https://thehill.com/homenews/house/5226545-gop-rep-says-tariff-is-a-tax-no-question/).
