Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.), a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced $479,804,729 in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grants for Louisiana. These grants will fund restoration and hazard mitigation efforts related to Hurricanes Isaac, Laura, Zeta, Ida, and Francine, and cover costs associated with saltwater intrusion and additional storms and flooding.
