WASHINGTON, July 2 -- Sen. John Kennedy issued the following press release:
Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.), a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced $11,537,519 in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funding to support recovery efforts in Louisiana communities impacted by Hurricanes Ida, Laura and Francine.
"Louisianians never quit and have faced devastating natural disasters like Hurricanes Ida, Laura and Francine with real courage and determination. This $11.5 million in funding will help our communities repair damaged facilities, cover recovery costs and keep rebuilding until the job is done," said Kennedy.
