Last week, Congressman Tom Kean, Jr. (NJ-07) visited Mine Hill Township to view the site for the water main replacement project. Congressman Kean secured $850,000 in a key House Appropriations bill for Mine Hill Township through the Community Project Funding process, which will be used to replace 5,307 linear feet of transite water main.
"These pipes have been in the ground for over 40 years, contain asbestos, and are starting to fail," said Congressman Kean. "I am pleased to secure this federal funding to ensure that Mine Hill families have reliable access to high-quality water for decades to come."
