MACOMB, IL - Western Illinois University retiree Kathryn Alice "Kathy" Lantz, 71, of Colchester, IL passed away early June 7, at her home, leaving behind a legacy of dedicated service to WIU and the many students, faculty and staff she supported throughout her career.
Kathy was born May 17, 1955, in Quincy, IL, to Wilbur and Helen (McPherson) Boekhaus. She was a 1973 graduate of Southeastern High School in Augusta and went on to earn both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Western Illinois University. On June 22, 1985, she was united in marriage to David Lantz at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bowen. He survives.
