Today, U.S. Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA), a member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee, and U.S. Senators Dick Durbin (D-IL), Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Thom Tillis (R-NC), Angus King (I-ME), John Cornyn (R-TX), Chris Coons (D-DE), and Alan Armstrong (R-OK) introduced a bipartisan proposal to encourage congressional action on Social Security.
