INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., Sept. 17 -- The Indiana House of Representatives' Republican Caucus issued the following news release:
STATEHOUSE (Sept. 17, 2026) - Jasper County legislators are encouraging local students to apply for the Indiana House Republican Internship Program for the 2027 legislative session.
State Rep. Michael Aylesworth (R-Hebron) said this paid, full-time internship is open to college students, recent graduates and students in law or graduate school from January through April.
"The legislative session would not run as smoothly without our interns," Aylesworth said. "This hands-on internship gives students the opportunity to dive into policy, constituent outreach and communications while gaining professional work experience....
