INTERNATIONAL TRADE ADMINISTRATION ISSUES NOTICE: CERTAIN FATTY ACIDS FROM INDONESIA: PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION OF CRITICAL CIRCUMSTANCES, IN PART, IN THE COUNTERVAILING DUTY INVESTIGATION

WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 -- International Trade Administration has issued a notice called: Certain Fatty Acids From Indonesia: Preliminary Determination of Critical Circumstances, in Part, in the Countervailing Duty Investigation.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 5 by Christopher Abbott, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy and Negotiations, performing the non-exclusive functions and duties of the Assistant Secretary for Enforcement and Compliance.

Summary: The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) determines that critical circumstances exist, in part, with respect to imports of certain fatty acids (fatty acids) from Indonesia. The period of investigation is January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025.
