U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.) recently attended and delivered remarks at the Investiture Ceremony of Harold D. Mooty III as U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Alabama. Senator Britt led the presentation and reading of the commission during the ceremony. The Honorable Madeline H. Haikala, Chief Judge United States District Court Northern District of Alabama, presided over the ceremony.
Various local, state, and federal officials were in attendance to celebrate the investiture. The ceremony was made even more special by Judge Mooty's daughter writing the invocation and his son leading the Pledge of Allegiance.
