Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02) today announced $1.4 million in federal funding for infrastructure improvements at Northeast Philadelphia Airport (PNE) to strengthen safety and support long-term airport operations.
"This is the third busiest airport in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania," said Congressman Boyle. "So, this is a real economic driver for not just Northeast Philadelphia, not just the entire city of Philadelphia, but really all of Southeastern Pennsylvania as well as adjacent South Jersey. I am proud to present $1.4 million in total to Northeast Philadelphia Airport."
