Sen. Jon Husted (R-Ohio) today convened Ohio leaders for a roundtable discussion on affordable housing before visiting the Ohio State Fair to meet with Ohio's agricultural leaders.
"For many Ohioans, owning a home is part of their American dream and we have an obligation to make sure that goal is in reach and affordable. When I was growing up here in Ohio, people were leaving, and we didn't have this housing problem. Our population was in decline. Now we are growing, and people are finding work here. And unless you want your kids and grandkids living with you, we need to build homes for our future generations!" said Husted.
