Today, the U.S. House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee passed the Water Resources Development Act of 2026 (WRDA, H.R. 9497). It authorizes construction projects, studies and other infrastructure activities for U.S. waterways and ports. This bipartisan legislation also includes key priorities championed by Representative Val Hoyle (OR-04). The bill will next go to the full U.S. House of Representatives for consideration.
