All organizers, faculty, and staff members who made Earth Week possible.
On the morning of April 22, Earth Day, the Research Center at Hostos Community College was filled beyond capacity. Held during the College's Earth Week and under the theme "Our Power, Our Planet," the gathering also marked the institution's fifty-eighth anniversary. What filled the room, however, was not just celebration. It was a shared conviction that science, when rooted in community and access, can be one of the most democratic tools available for changing the world.
