WASHINGTON, March 17 -- Sen. John Hoeven issued the following news release:
Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Energy and Water Appropriations Committee, today announced he has secured a $108 million award to support the Eastern North Dakota Alternate Water Supply (ENDAWS) project from the One Big Beautiful Bill (OB3). This includes $100 million for construction of ENDAWS and $8 million for repairs at the McClusky Canal and Snake Creek Pumping Plant, which will be utilized for the project.
* The OB3 included $1 billion in funding for Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) water conveyance and storage projects.
