Senator John Hoeven announced the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the Continuum of Care (CoC) program has awarded two North Dakota organizations over $450,000. The awards come as a result of legislation that Hoeven worked to pass as a member of the Senate Transportation, Housing and Urban Development (THUD) Appropriations Committee, with grants being renewed for:

* YWCA Cass Clay - Transitional Housing - $225,284 * YWCA Cass Clay - Supportive Housing Program (SHP) - $155,258 * The Abused Adult Resource Center of Bismarck - Transitional Housing - $83,561
