Senator John Hoeven today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded $4.7 million to the City of Williston through the Fiscal Year 2026 Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) program. As a member of the Senate Transportation Appropriations Committee, Hoeven has worked to secure strong federal investments in airport infrastructure to support North Dakota communities. The funding will be used to construct a new 9,600-square-foot aircraft hangar for storage and maintenance at Williston Basin International Airport.
