The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced the award of $7,508,314 (https://ciosenus.box.com/s/29vdn30vjso7z5zk320sfcnba4h464s5) for the following programs and initiatives across North Dakota:

* $2,697,431 to the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services (NDHHS) to enhance the state's efforts to prevent and respond to vaccine-preventable diseases.

* $2,143,709 to NDHHS to support cancer prevention and control programs.

* $982,495 to NDHHS for efforts supporting cardiovascular health.

* $850,000 to NDHHS for diabetes prevention of at-risk populations.
