HERKIMER, N.Y., June 4 -- Herkimer County Community College issued the following news release:
Herkimer County Community College has promoted Matthew Lee to director of athletics and Michael Harrington to assistant director of athletics and head baseball coach.
Lee, of Utica, NY has been promoted to director of athletics through succession at Herkimer County Community College and has served as head coach of the College's nationally recognized men's basketball program since 2003. Lee brings more than two decades of leadership experience in collegiate athletics to the role.
Lee earned his 500th career victory in November 2024 and was inducted into the New York State Basketball Hall of Fame in April 2025.
