U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) joined 10 Democratic senators to send a letter demanding answers from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the Executive Office of Immigration Review on the Trump Administration's treatment of unaccompanied children in immigration detention. The letter comes as the Trump Administration continues efforts to target unaccompanied migrant children for removal.
