Today, U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) announced (https://x.com/HawleyMO/status/2056506772056142164) that he received an update from the U.S. Department of Justice that $101,950,000 in compensation has been delivered directly to Missourians harmed by exposure to Manhattan Project nuclear waste. This milestone comes after Senator Hawley's legislation, expanding the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) to include Missourians, was signed into law by President Trump in 2025.
