WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Mark Harris (NC-08) released the following statement in response to the Food and Drug Administration's court-ordered update on its mifepristone safety study:
"Chemical abortions are unsafe for the mother and lethal for the baby. Further delays are unacceptable and will result in the deaths of an additional 90,000 unborn children in pro-life states.
