INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., Aug. 18 -- The Indiana House of Representatives' Republican Caucus issued the following news release:

STATEHOUSE (Aug. 18, 2026) -Local lawmakers are encouraging Hamilton County residents affected by historic flooding in central Indiana to seek assistance by applying for state emergency resources or utilizing the Hamilton County assistance hub for local support.

Hamilton County has set up an emergency assistance hub for local residents affected by flooding. Anyone in need of help should call 317-645-3261. Expo Hall, Room A, at the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds (2003 Pleasant Street in Noblesville) is serving as the central assistance hub.
