HANSCOM AFB, Mass., Oct. 15 -- Hanscom Air Force Base issued the following press release:
The Military and Family Readiness Center will host a Hearts Apart Halloween Social on Oct. 28 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at building 1240.
Hearts Apart is a resiliency program designed to support military families enduring geographical separation due to military obligations.
"When an Airman is deployed, it's easier to focus on the mission if their family is being supported," said Master Sgt. Sarah Baker, MFRC senior readiness noncommissioned officer. "Knowing loved ones are taken care of maintains the readiness of our overseas military members."
