Yesterday, United States Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN) spoke on the Senate floor imploring his Senate colleagues to confirm Brian Lea, President Donald Trump's nominee to be District Judge for the Western District of Tennessee.

I would also like to address a separate issue, President Trump's nomination of Brian Charles Lea to be District Judge for the Western District of Tennessee.
Brian is a fourth-generation Memphian, and graduate of Union University.
His academic credentials are outstanding, with a 4.06 GPA in law school, followed by clerkships for Judge Ed Carnes and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
