WASHINGTON-- TaurianAnderson,21, of the District of Columbia, pleaded guilty today in U.S. District Court in connection with his role in aconspiracyto commit a series of armed carjackingsin Washington D.C.,Maryland, and Virginia,announced U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro.

Anderson pleaded guilty beforeJudge Beryl A. Howelltoone count of conspiracy to commit carjacking, one count of carjacking and aiding and abetting, and to two counts of using afirearm infurtherance of acrime ofviolence. Judge Howell scheduled sentencing forJan. 29, 2027.
