The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) has awarded Radford University, based in Radford, Virginia, a $97,472 grant. This funding will support the completion of two plans to assess how artificial intelligence can help with regional workforce development. U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

"As the United States adjusts to artificial intelligence, communities are increasingly looking to the technology to unlock growth in our economy and workforce.
