WASHINGTON, Aug. 28 -- Sen. Chuck Grassley issued the following news release:
BUTLER COUNTY, IOWA - U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) welcomed an announcement that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Cemetery Administration (NCA) has awarded $1,358,525 in grant funding to the state of Iowa to expand the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in rural Dallas County.
The grant will fund 2,160 columbarium niches and landscaping. Grassley attended the cemetery's dedication on July 3, 2008.
