U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today celebrated the U.S. Coast Guard's announcement approving $212 million in funding to enhance readiness at Base Charleston in North Charleston. The Coast Guard stated that these funds will be used to improve the installation's pier infrastructure and for the construction of a new medical and dental facility, among other mission-critical initiatives.
