WASHINGTON, Feb. 4 -- Sen. Lindsey Graham issued the following press release:

U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today cosponsored the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) America Act, an expanded version of the SAVE Act. The updated legislation would require voter ID in federal elections, along with the original bill's requirement to demonstrate proof of citizenship in order to register to vote. Graham is also an original cosponsor of the first version of the SAVE Act.
