DES MOINES, Oct. 7 -- The Office of the Governor issued the following news release:
Today, Governor Kim Reynoldsexpandeda proclamation to temporarily suspend state penalties for vehicles using dyed diesel to transport certainfarmproducts on public roads. The list ofproductsnow includesthe additions of livestock and livestock feed, and other farm products.
The proclamation temporarily suspends regulatory provisions of Iowa Code Section 452A.74A(1) that restrict the use of dyed diesel for highway transportation in motor vehicles hauling soybeans, corn, hay, straw, silage, stover, distillers grains, soybean meal, livestock, livestock feed, fertilizer (dry, liquid, and gas) and manure (dry and liquid) and otherfarmproducts.
