EL PASO, Texas, July 29 -- The University of Texas at El Paso issued the following news release:

The construction on Glory Road will extend to part of Randolph Drive next week and remain closed through Aug. 28. However, the roads will reopen briefly to accommodate two major concerts in the Don Haskins Center.

Glory Road has been closed west of Randolph Drive since June 30 to dig water lines for the new Miner Crossing residence hall. It will reopen at 5 p.m. Friday, July 31 and remain open until Monday morning, Aug. 3 to help ease expected traffic for Sunday's Shinedown concert at the Don Haskins Center.
