U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), a member of the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC), is calling for a bipartisan investigation into a February deadly Tomahawk missile strike on an Iranian elementary school. The errant attack killed at least 168 people, most of them children. According to the New York Times (https://www.nytimes.com/2026/03/11/us/politics/iran-school-missile-strike.html), an ongoing military investigation has determined that the United States is responsible for the strike.
