Today, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), ranking member of the Senate Aging Committee, and Aging Committee Chairman Rick Scott (R-FL) announced committee passage of their Consumer Labeling for Enhanced API Reporting and Legitimate Accountability for Base Entity Listings (CLEAR LABELS) Act. This bill would add country of origin labeling requirements to the U.S.' prescription drug supply chain.
