Today, Georgia became one of the first states in the nation to ensure eligible foster children can benefit from the same tax-advantaged investment "Trump Accounts" created by theOne Big Beautiful Bill Act as their peers, in addition to any Social Security survivor benefits they may receive. Part of First Lady Melania Trump's effort to launch these "Fostering the Future Accounts,"this measure will help secure a stronger financial foundation for thousands of foster children in state care, giving them quality support and assets when they age out of the system.
