Senator Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) released the following statement after Republicans once again blocked legislation to fund the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and other important DHS functions while talks on ICE and CBP proceed:
"Republicans are holding TSA agents' paychecks, disaster relief, and our national security hostage because they refuse to confront the reckless chaos inside the Department of Homeland Security under Stephen Miller's direction.
