FRESNO, Calif. - David Richard Garcia Jr., 34, of Fresno, was sentenced Monday by U.S. District Judge Kirk E. Sherriff to 11 years and five months in prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm, U.S.Attorney Eric Grant announced.
According to court documents, on Jan. 23, 2025, Garcia was found to be in possession of a Glock 22 .40‑caliber handgun. Garcia is prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition because of prior felony convictionsin Fresno County including, robbery, assault, and evading a peace office with willful disregard for safety.
