Former U.S. Agency for International Development Administrator Samantha Power voiced support for legislation introduced by Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-32) and House Foreign Affairs Committee Ranking Member Gregory Meeks (D-NY) that would direct the Government Accountability Office to conduct an independent review of deaths linked to the dismantling of USAID programs.
