WASHINGTON, April 2 -- Food Safety and Inspection Service has issued a notice called: Notice of Request To Revise an Approved Information Collection: State Meat and Poultry Inspection Systems.
The notice was published in the Federal Register on April 2 by Justin Ransom, Administrator.
Summary: In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) regulations, FSIS is announcing its intention to request a revision of the approved information collection for State Meat and Poultry Inspection (MPI) Programs. FSIS is adding 204 burden hours to the information collection due to the addition of a new State inspection program. The approval for this information collection will expire on August 31, 2026.
