FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: LISTING OF COLOR ADDITIVES EXEMPT FROM CERTIFICATION; BUTTERFLY PEA FLOWER EXTRACT; CONFIRMATION OF EFFECTIVE DATE

WASHINGTON, Aug. 21 -- Food and Drug Administration has issued a rule called: Listing of Color Additives Exempt From Certification; Butterfly Pea Flower Extract; Confirmation of Effective Date.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 21 by Grace R. Graham, Deputy Commissioner for Policy, Legislation, and International Affairs.

Summary: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA or we) is confirming the effective date of June 26, 2025, for the final order that appeared in the Federal Registerof May 12, 2025.
