FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE ISSUES RULE: ENDANGERED AND THREATENED WILDLIFE AND PLANTS; ENDANGERED SPECIES STATUS FOR FLORIDA KEYS MOLE SKINK; CORRECTION

WASHINGTON, July 29 -- Fish and Wildlife Service has issued a rule called: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Endangered Species Status for Florida Keys Mole Skink; Correction.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on July 29 by Jillian Eanett, Acting Chief, Policy and Regulations Branch, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Summary: We, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), are correcting a final rule that appeared in the Federal Registeron July 21, 2026. The rule added the Florida Keys mole skink ( Plestiodon egregius egregius), a lizard subspecies from the Florida Keys, Florida, to the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife.
